Samarath, a vampire, travels to the remote part of the world in a desperate attempt to get away from the one who haunts her. The attempt proves to be feeble as she finds herself confronted by the succubus who does everything to make Samarath hers. Will Samarath get away in time?

It started off very promising, but I was instantly put off by odd-sounding sentence phrases and missing words. Not enough to call this a terrible edit job, but enough to annoy me. Another negative is the fact that the author didn't describe the main character at all, and didn't give more of a description of the secondary character other than to call her voluptous with purple eyes. The sex scenes were very lacking, mainly because of lack of description and very generic emotions throughout. Another question I have is, why how did Auralune get away from all those men at the bar? That was never adequately explained.Now on to the positive stuff. The idea of a vampire/succubus relationship is something I've never heard of, and sounds intriguing. I like all the thought the author put into having the succubus as the dominant person in the relationship. That was definitely different.
Alas, this new idea didn't really carry all the way over onto paper for me. Had there been better editing, and more description, I probably would have given this short story 5/5 stars. As it stands in it's present state, I'm giving it 3/5.
