finished the first book set in same world, different lead characters-and had to read this, the second. same humor, same entertainment value. H is part of the same team the H of the first book is on, h is relative of first h, but this time the action does not take place with the background of the reality show. (cover for hunting icky things that go shriek in the night) i really like the way the author can give you a somewhat alternate reality within our world so no big info dump. most of the action takes place at a resort with the background of a medical school reunion. we've got the good friend, the old almost boyfriend, and the prima donna. into this matter of fact background comes the para part of the story-this time with the storyline of the dreaded family matchmaker.

again, no cheating/ow, no huge angst, no big triggers. only editing error i noticed was a missing word. sex after a while, but not erotica. i am looking forward to the next books in this series and am hoping its darcy but its probably hadleighs brother and the missing witch from the first book. darn.

Very good storyline and strong and endearing characters. Very good romance but would have been a little better with more action and suspense.
I loved this story, I couldn't stop laughing at this couple, talk about making my day, and I loved the sexy warrior, I can only dream of such a man, but what a dream and what a great story. Ty
I started out reading Jane Cousins "To Woo a Warrior" and wound up getting hooked! At first it started out slow, I couldn't seem to get into the story, then it took off....so much so that I found myself buying book 2, " To Trap A Temptress." This is a stand alone book, but like book one I found myself buying the next book in the series so I could continue reading about my favorite characters. The tattoos were cute, and I love the personalities the author gave the characters. There were quite a few times I actually caught myself smiling while reading through the pages, this was a fun book to read. I will be starting book 3 tonight, I can't wait to see what happens next. )
The series continues to provide a light hearted romance with some humour. The big bad in this isn’t that complex but the couple are cute together.
First time I have read Jane cousins books. I enjoyed it a lot. Funny and good story. I enjoy the secondary characters as well. Can't wait to read another one of Jane books.
To Trap A Temptress by the talented Jane Cousins is the second book in the Southern Sanctuary series and it is a doozy. I love Nell, a healer and a wicked girl hidden beneath a conservative good girl doctor guise. And, oh my god, Drum, over seven feet of deliciousness, a Warrior for the Goddess Maat.....this man is truly awesome. I fell in love with these two characters....I love the humor, the deadliness, the action, the sexiness and just plain old fun story. I know there are those that tend to dwell on a few minor editing issues, but I feel that the book carried itself and I thoroughly recommend it to those with a love of all things paranormal with hot guys and kickass females.
This is the second book in the series and while I think it could be read by itself, I recommend reading the books in order. This story is the perfect balance between humor, action, romance, and paranormal/fantasy. The story was lightly steamy, nothing explicit or overly descriptive. The main characters grew and changed while staying true to their described personalities. It drives me nuts when a supposedly strong, smart and experienced hero or heroine does something really stupid or weak and needs to be saved because of it. Many secondary characters appear in the first book and now this one. These other characters enrich the story and are fun to see again and again. I highly recommend this story and To Woo A Warrior, the first book in the series. I can't wait to read the other two books that are already available.
